Henry Eugene Zabel

     Henry Eugene Zabel was commonly known as Hank. He was born on 4 June 1905 in San Francisco, California, USA. He was the son of Henry E Zabel and Margaret Leona Ross.
Henry Eugene Zabel married Catherine Edmondson on 30 November 1934.
     Henry was an electrician. He joined the US Navy as soon as he was old enough, spending most of his time in China and learning the electrician trade. He married after his discharge and lived in the Los Angeles area. He then worked as an electrician in the Disney studios and wired several exibits in Disneyland California and Florida.
After his retirement they lived in Washington and later moved to Onida, South Dakota to be near their daughter Nancy and their two grandchildren and their families. Catherine died a few years ago.
     Henry resided at Onida, South Dakota, USA, 1992.

William Henry de Zuylestein Earl of Rochford

     William Henry de Zuylestein Earl of Rochford was born in May 1645 in Zuylestein, near Utrecht, the Netherlands?. He was the son and heir of Frederick van Nassau, Lord of Zuylestein (by his wife Mary Killigrew, daughter of Sir William Killigrew), illegitimate son of Frederick Henry of Nassau, Prince of Orange, the grandfather of William III, King of England. He was the son of Frederick de Nassau General Zuylestein and Mary Killigrew. William Henry de Zuylestein Earl of Rochford was christened on 7 October 1649.
He entered the Dutch Cavalry 1672; and succeeded his father as Lord of Zuylestein the same year; Envoy to England from the Netherlands 1687 and 1688; Maj General in the Dutch Army 1688; accompanied his cousin the Prince of Orange to England in 1688 and naturalised 1689; Master of the Robes 1689-95; Lieut General in the English Army 1690 serving in Ireland and Flanders; wounded and taken prisoner at the Battle of Landen 1693; granted a pension of £1,000 1695 and 30,512 acres of land in Ireland 1698; Col of a Regiment of Dutch Guards 1700. He was a confidential friend of William III.
William Henry de Zuylestein Earl of Rochford married Jane Wroth on 28 January 1681. She was the daughter and heiress of Sir Henry Wroth, of Durants, Enfield, co. Mdx, by whom he had 4 sons and 5 daughters. William was created Baron of Enfield, Viscount Tunbridge, and Earl of Rochford. The line became extinct on 3 Sep 1830 on 10 May 1695.
     William died on 2 July 1708 in Zuylestein, near Utrecht , aged 63.
