With Priscilla Smith & Frances Serjeantson the iron plate memorial states in the quire of the cathedral: Sacred to the memory of Mrs Sarah Smith who died January 8 MCDDLXXV [1775]. A gentlewoman who's piety was unaffected who's bounty was extensive, who's benevolence was universal and who's example was highly worthy of imitation.

I also give unto my said wife all the dividends and interest arising from my share in the English stock of the Company of Stationers of the City of London and in the case of the death of my said wife or her marrying I direct that the money arising and to be received from the said Company be given unto James Dempster Robertson, my dear wife’s son
I also appoint my said wife and my said brother, Isaac Smith, executrix and executor of this my will hereby revoking any will heretofore made by me and do declare this to be my last will and testament.
