Sir Dudley Ryder was MP for St Germans in 1733 and Tiverton 1733-54.
Sir Dudley Ryder married Ann Newnham on 1 November 1733 in St Leonard, Streatham, Surrey. Dudley Ryderof Lincolsn Inn esq and Mrs Ann Newnham of this parish were married by licence. Dudley was Chief Justice of the Court of the King's Bench between 1754 and 1756.
Dudley died on 25 May 1756 aged 64. This was the day after a warrant was signed to enoble him. He was buried in Grantham, Lincolnshire.
