     Sir Dudley Ryder was born on 4 November 1691 in Hackney, Middlesex, England. He was the second son.. He was the son of Richard Ryder and Elizabeth Marshall.
     He was educated at a Dissenting Academy at Hackney. It is said that "his success in prosecuting his forensic duties was secured by his abitlities, his atention, and his punctuality". Dudley was a barrister.

     Sir Dudley Ryder married Ann Newnham on 1 November 1733. Dudley was Chief Justice of the Court of the King's Bench between 1754 and 1756.
     Dudley died on 25 May 1756 aged 64. This was the day after a warrant was signed to enoble him. He was buried in Grantham, Lincolnshire.

     Jane died in 1921 in Brisbane, Queensland.

     Nathaniel Ryder Baron Harrowby was born on 3 July 1735 in London, England. He was the only son. He was the son of Sir Dudley Ryder and Ann Newnham. Nathaniel Ryder Baron Harrowby was christened on 15 July 1735 in St Andrew's, Holborn, London or Middlesex.
     Nathaniel studied at Clare Hall, Cambridge University.
     Nathaniel Ryder Baron Harrowby married Elizabeth Terrick on 22 January 1762 in Lambeth, Surrey. Nathaniel was created Baron Harrowby, of Harrowby, Lincolnshire on 20 May 1776.
     Nathaniel died after a long illness on 14 May 1796 in Bath, Somerset, aged 60.
     Nathaniel died on 20 June 1803 aged 67.

      Richard Ryder was also known as Ryther in some records. He was born in August 1657. He was the younger son. He was the son of Rev Dudley Ryder and Ann Bickley.
     Richard Ryder married Elizabeth Marshall. She was his second wife. Richard Ryder was listed as a Freeman of City of London in the Master Skinners Company in 1717. He was a "respectable mercer in the Cloisters, West Smithfield, London, where his elder brother carried on the same business". He was also described as a citizen and skinner.
     Richard died on 29 January 1734/35 in Hackney, Middlesex, aged 77.

     Richard Ryder (of Haxey) was christened on 11 April 1729 in Haxey, Lincolnshire. He was the son of Daniel Ryther (of Haxey) and Ann Unknown (Ryther).
