Daniel Rich married Mary Haugh-Haigh, daughter of William Haigh and Unknown Coldhill, on 24 June 1628 in Bradfield, Yorkshire. Daniell Rych & Marye Haughe, married June 24 1628 at Bradfield..
Daniel Rich and Amor Rich were mentioned in a deed dated 2 March 1628/29 in Penistone, Yorkshire. David and Daniel Rich, younger sons of Aymor Rich of Bulhouse bound to John Marsden of Smalshawe in £10 to keep the covenants of a lease from Aymor Rich (late deceased) to the said John Marsden of 1/3 part of the messuage called Smalshawe from 1st March last for 21 years. Witn., Rob. Leake. (At Large. Puts himself, not guilty, at Rotherham, 20 July 1641).

The official pedigree gives no wife or children, draft version gives details of marriage to Mary Haigh, etc.
He is unlikely to be the Daniel Rich of Stainbrough, yeoman, mentioned 28 Feb 1640/1 at Darton breaking and entering a messuage and 10 acres of pasture, commonly called Comberroide, in the peaceful possession of Robert Leake...
Eastwood's History of Ecclesfield in the notes on the Shaw family (p.473) states that in 1680 Daniel of Smallshaw had lands at Midhope which he left to Emor Rich, his second son, cousin to Elkanah Rich (husband of Margaret Shaw).
This is probably the Daniel who bought lands from John Wainwright before 1691. He was described as "unsettled" by Oliver Heywood, and had son Daniel. [Hunter]..
Daniel Rich paid 2/- land tax in 1642 in Thurlstone, Penistone, Yorkshire, England. The 1642 land tax for Thurlestone lists Daniel Rich paying 2/-, also Wm paying 3/- and Edward paying 3/4, Wm It..H paying 3/6 or 7/6 along with the widow Rich paying 1/6.
