     Sir Alan Graeme Potter married Florence Barbara Mary Bowker, daughter of Dr Robert Steer Bowker and Florence Mary Marks, on 2 February 1926 in St Mark's, Darling Point, New South Wales. St Mark's Church, Darling Point, was beautifully decorated yesteday for the marriage of Miss Barbara Bowker and Mr Alan Graeme Potter. Flower boxes of tiger lilies and gladioli with foliage were arranged along the chancel, with tall silver pedestals massed with red and pink roses, standing at intervals. The bride is the daughter of Dr and Mrs. Steer Bowker, Brantwood, Edgecliff, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr and Mrs Wilson Potter, Eritlon Mill, Surrey, and Catherine street, Westminster, London. The bride was given away by her father. Her gown, of ivory chiffon over taffeta, made with a tight bodice and full wide skirt was hand embroidered in pearls. The lace veil, which had been worn by her mother, was worn over another of plain tulle, and she carried a bouquet of tuberous begonia, mauve orchids, and caladium leaves, tied with green orchids. The bridesmaids were the Misses Ryrie, twin daughters of Sir Granville and Lady Ryrie, and the Misses Phillips and Beatrice Gordon, nieces of the bride. The Misses Ryrie wore frocks of cream chiffon and apple green bats, and the younger girls were frocked in cream with green wreaths encircling their hair, They all carried sheaves of pink liliums, tied with green. M. Dick Allen and Mr Jim Dickson attended the bridegroom. The reception was held at Brantwood, where Mrs Bowker received the guests. Tea was served in a marquee, decorated in pink liliums and apple green. The bride travelled in a frock of beige embroidered goorgette, and hat to match, when leaving for the honeymoon, which will be spent at Moonbarra, Port Hacking.
     Alan died in 1969 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He was chairman of the Australian Jockey Club.

     Alice Powditch married Henry Trull, son of Thomas Trull and Elizabeth Unknown (Trull), before 1750. She is mentioned in the will of her mother Alice dated 8 March 1750 as Alice Trull nee Powdich. There is no real evidence to link this marriage to this Henry except the date.
     Henry & Alice are mentioned in her mother's probate documents and their son Thomas P Trull signs.
     Alice Powditch made a will dated 5 August 1808 in Norwich, Norfolk. Alice Trull of the city of Norwich, widow, gives 20 pounds to Mr John Trull and small legacies to others, leaves the remainder of her estate to her two grand daughters Mary Trull, spinster and Alice Dye, wife of William Dye.
     Alice died between August 1808 and 1809.
     Her will was proved on 12 October 1809 in Norwich, Norfolk.
