     There is generation confusion here, perhaps this is George of Flixborough's brother Robert of Misson, father of George and his sisters. See George's will of 1668.
An early demise may explain why his son George is mentioned in uncle George of Flixborough's will.. Robert Popplewell (Gent, Misson, son of Francis) was christened on 14 April 1622 in Misson, Nottinghamshire. He was the son of Francis Popplewell.

It is not clear whether he is alive in George's will of 1668 but he is mentioned as the father of George's nephew George and nieces Dorothy & Elizabeth. There is only a George at Misson in the 1674 Hearth tax. He was buried on 12 November 1659? In Misson, Nottinghamshire, England.
     The administration of his estate was granted in 1660.
