     Sarah Osborn was born on 14 October 1793 in Croydon, Surrey. She was the daughter of Robert Osborn and Mary Unknown (Osborn). Sarah Osborn was christened on 23 January 1794 in St John the Baptist, Croydon.

     Thomas Osborn was born on 5 July 1716 in Croydon, Surrey. He was the son of Robert Osborn and Elizabeth Dunn. Thomas Osborn was christened on 23 July 1716 in Croydon.
     Thomas Osborn married Ann Unknown (Osborn). Thomas was a stone mason.
     Thos Osborne was listed in the Croydon Appeals for 1783. He is not mentioned in the will of his presumed father in 1765.
     Thomas Osborn made a will dated 28 December 1791 in Croydon, SRY. In the name of God Amen. I Thomas Osborn of Croydon in the County of Surry Stonemason do make my last Will and Testament as follows (that is to say) I give and bequeath unto my Brother Benjamin Osborn Stonemason the sum of one hundred pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to be paid him as soon as convenient after my decease also I give unto my Niece Ann Butler the sum of fifty pounds also I give unto my friend William [Budgen] of Croydon aforesaid Watchmaker one of my Executors herein afterward the sum of twenty [guineas] for his trouble in the Execution of this my Will also I give unto my Sister [Prudence] Butler Wife of William Butler of Croydon aforesaid Stonemason the yearly sum of ten pounds eight shillings for and during the term of her natural life to be paid her by weekly payments to and for her own sole and separate use independant of her present or any future husband and her receipt alone to be a dischare for the same the said payment to be issuing and made out of the Rents and profits of such cottage Leasehold provisos as I now hold of the Hospital of the Holy Trinity in Croydon aforesaid and which Leasehold provisos I hereby subject and charge with the same also I give unto my dear Wife Ann Osborn and her assigns for and during the term of her natural life one annuity or clear Yearly Sum of fifty pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain to be paid her half Yearly the first payment thereof to begin and be made at the end of six months next after my decease to and with the payment of which said annuity of fifty pounds to my said Wife I hereby Subject and Charge all my freehold and Leasehold Lands Tenements [---] and provisos which said annuity of fifty pounds and other things herein after given and bequeathed unto my said Wife Ann It is my Will shall be in [lieu] and [---] of all [Dower] and [Thirds] which she might otherwise be intitled to at Common Law or by Statute or otherwise also I give to my said Wife Ann Osborn all and singular my Household Goods and furniture of Household plate Silver and china to and for her own use and benefit also I give unto my said Wife Ann the Sum of Twenty Shillings a week to be paid her weekly by my Executors from the [residue] of my [---] Will the first half Yearly payment of [her] said annuity of fifty pounds shall become payable for and towards her support and maintenance [till] that time and it is my Will and I desire and direct that my said Wife shall during her natural life (in case the [---] of the provisos shall so long exist or be [---] ir [---]) have the use and [occupation] in common with my Nephew Robert Osborn of the Messuage or Tenement I now reside [---] dwell in at Croydon and that without paying any Rent for the same and in case through or in consequence of any disagreement with him my said Nephew Robert Osborn or on any [after]account my said Wife shall hereafter [choose] to quit the occupation thereof them it is my Will that she shall have and be intitled to the [---] of any one other of my Messuages or Tenements in Croydon aforesaid to reside in and that such Residence shall be free of and without paying any Rent or Land Tax or other Considerations to my said Nephew Robert Osborn for the same Also I give to my said Nephew Robert Osborn (who now lives with me) my Wattle and Seals and also my Wearing apparel of all kinds Also I give to my said Nephew Robert Osborn my Business of a Stonemason All the Rest and Residue of my Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever both Real and personal of what nature or kind soever and of whateer the same may consist I give devise and bequeath to my said Nephew Robert Osborn To hold to him my said Nephew Robert Osborn his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever according to the nature and quality of the same Estate and provisos (Subject nevertheless as to all my freehold and Leasehold Estates to and I do hereby charge the same with the payment of the said annuity of fifty pounds to my said Wife Ann and her assigns during her natural life and Subject as to my Cottage Leasehold to the payment of the said Yearly Sum of Ten pounds eight Shillings to my said Sister Prudence Butler during her life and Subject as to the Residue of my Estate and Effects to the payment of all my just Debts [Legacies] funeral and Testamentary charges and Expenses) and Lastly I do hereby revoke and make void all former and other Wills bequests and Legacies by me at any time [heretofore] made and do declare this alone to be my last Will and Testament and do [nominate] constitute and appoint the said William Budgen of Croydon aforesaid Watchmaker and my said Nephew Robert Osborn Executors hereof.      Thomas died circa January 1792 in Croydon, SRY.
     His will was proved on 15 February 1792 in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury. This Will was proved at London the fifteenth day of February in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and ninety two before the Worshipful George Harris Doctor of Laws Surrogate of the Right Honble Sir William [Wynne] Knight Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the prerogative court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oath of William Gudgen and Robert Osborn the Nephew of the Deceased the Executors named in the said Will to whom administration was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said Deceased having been first sworn duly to administer.
