Rev William Noble was christened on 26 December 1568 in Gt Livermere, Suffolk. He was the son of William Noble and Joan Unknown (Noble).
He was only 5 when his father died and 15 when his stepfather (John Fuller) died. It is possible that over this period William was living with his mother and stepfather at Gt Livermere in the Noble family house and lands, continuing to do so after his first marriage having 2 children there, 1 baptised at Gt Livermere the other at Lt Livermere. He moved to Ampton in 1592 at the time of his second marriage and had 7 children there, 6 of them were baptised in Ampton and in Gt Livermere. His wife Katherine died intestate and William her son inherited his father's estate. Note: William bequeathed no land in his will, only goods and chattels.
William studied at Christ's College, Cambridge University, in June 1587.
Rev William Noble married Dorothy Cosin on 21 December 1592 in Cavenham, Suffolk. William was a clerk (clergyman) at Gt Livermere, Suffolk, from 1593 to 1598. William was widowed on 13 January 1594/95 in Gt Livermere, Suffolk, on the death of his wife Dorothy Cosin.
Rev William Noble married Catherine Newcome on 31 January 1597/98 in Cavenham, SFK. William was rector at Ampton, Suffolk, from 02 Oct 1598. He was Rector of Ampton. On the wall in Ampton church there is a framed article (written by a past rector) which mentions William.
Rev William Noble made a will dated 12 March 1616/17 in Ampton. Will of William Noble of Ampton 12 March 1616, rector, ... unto Katherine my now wife all my goods and chattels whatsoever ... sole exor. ... son William... He did not menton of land.
William died before 22 March 1616/17 in Ampton, Suffolk. He was buried on 22 March 1616/17 in Ampton.
His will was proved on 7 September 1617. There is a further paragraph added to his will dated 7 Sep 1617, that seems to be an affidavit in Latin, accepting the death of William's wife, katherien, who had died just over a year after her husband, in April 1617, and naming Wiliam as his father's heir.
