Elizabeth Mounke and Diones Geere emigrated from England between May 1635 and July 1635 to Massachusetts, USA, per "Abigail". 4 May-10 July 1635: Passengers to be transported [from London] to New England in the "Abigail", Mr Richard [elsewhere Robert] Hackwell ... From Isleworth: Dennis Geere, 30, his wife Elizabeth, 22, and two children, Ellizabet 3 and Sara 2 ... They were of Lynn Isleworth, Middlesex. Arrived Boston 8 Oct 1635; another transcript states they were from Falmer Sussex and bound for Lynn, Massachusetts.

     Joseph Mouzilly St Mars Marquis de married May Elizabeth Wesley Hall, daughter of James Wesley Hall and Mary Frederica Dora Dempster, in 1915 in France.
     Joseph died before 21 May 1942 in California, USA. They had 27 years together..

If nothing else, it shows that Sir William Plumpton and the Mowbrays were in contact. Albeit in an antagonistic sort of way... The information comes from Sir William Plumpton's biographical entry in *The Parliamentary Representation of the County of York, 1258-1832* (The Yorkshire Archaeological Society, Record Series, vol. XCI: 1935), vol. 1,
pages 72-73. Here's the passage: "About this time [1350/51] John de
Mowbray accused him [Sir William Plumpton] of hunting in his free chase at Kirkby Malzeard and Blanche de Mowbray charged him with breaking her closes and houses at Gribthorpe, Thirsk, Thornton (in Harthill wap.) and Newsholme, nr. Howden, taking away livestock and assaulting her servants. In 1354, John [de Mowbray] again complained of his taking deer at Kirkby Malzeard and Burton-in-Londsdale." According to Dugdale, all of these properties are associated with the baronial Mowbrays. Now the only Blanche de Mowbray I can find is a daughter of the third baron, and since the third baron didn't die until 1361, I'm wondering if the John de Mowbray mentioned might not be his son of the same name (and the future 4th baron).
As I said, it proves nothing (vis-a-vis Christiana's ancestry), but I'm
assuming any tidbit of information is useful at this point. Oh well, here's hoping Christiana can be sorted out at some point. Christiana Mowbray was born circa 1305.

Sir Thomas Moyle was a Member of Parliament and speaker of the House of Commons. He was the son of John Moyle and Unknown Drury.

     Thomas died on 2 October 1560 in Eastwell Court, Eastwell, Kent, England.

     Sir Walter Moyle was born. He was the third son.. Walter was a judge. He was the son of Thomas Moyle.
     In 1454 he was resident at Eastwell in Kent and was commissioner for Kent to raise money for the defence of Calais. He was a reader at Gray's Inn, in 1443 becoming a Sergeant at Law, and a King's Sergeant in 1454. In the same year he was the bearer of a message from the lords tot he commons, refusing to interfere on behalf of the speaker Thorpe, imprisoned by process of law, and on 9 July he was appointed a Judge of the King's Bench. This office he held until his death. In 1459, 1460 and 1461 he was appointed by Parliament a trier of petitions from Gascony and parts abroad. He was one of those knighted in 1465 on the occasion of the coronation of Edward VI's queen Elizabeth. He died about 1470 seized of numerous lands in Devonshire and Somerset. Through his wife Margaret he acquired the manor of Stevenston in Devonshire..

Her occupation column shows: N S A/O 18.3. They were living next door to the Mudd family.

Robert aged 52, (ag) labourer, born Creeting, with his wife Elizabeth aged 52 born Battisford, his son Walter aged 28 born Battisford, William aged 24, both labourers, daughter Sarah aged 9 all unmarried and born in Battisford, and grandson George aged Ringshall.

     Elizabeth Muil married Samuel Emslie on 30 March 1806 in Midmar, Aberdeenshire. At Glenmuick, Tullich & Glengair parish on 30 March 1806: Robert Muil from Auchnaminee having given the Session Clek a pawn which was given the Treasurer by him; for Elizabeth Muil there and Samuel Emslie in the parish of Midmar: and were accordingly acclaimed. In the Midmar register: Samuel Emslie of this parish & Elizabeth Muil were contracted in order for marriage and married.

Deed of settlement of Samuel Emslie - appoints George Emslie, farmer in mill of Kenmay, Joseph Emslie of Camphill, merchant in Tarland; Alexander Emslie residing in Aberdeen; and the Rev Francis Muil one of the teachers in Gadins? Hospital as trustees and they to pay his wife Elizabeth Muil or Emslie an annuity of £50, has two sons - minors, dated 24 April 1824.
