     Charles died on 4 January 1846 in Chapelton, near Forres, Banffshire, Scotland. A note at after the last entry (for his youngest son's baptism) in the Tomintoul/Kirkmichael parish register (LDS #991064) The last entry must be a subsequent one - made by someone into whose possession the Register has come. The Reverend Charles McPherson died at Chapelton near Forres on the 4 January 1846 and the subject of the last entry was posthumous.. He was buried in Kirkmichael, Banffshire, Scotland.
