     Ebenezer died from wounds received at the Battle of the Boyne with William of Orange on 2 July 1690 in Chapelizod, Dublin, Ireland. He was buried in St Laurence, Chapelizod, Ireland.

Memorial of an indenture dated the thirtieth day of May 1753 between John Low of Coranaher in the co. of Westmeath, gent, of the one part & Samuel Handy of Coolylough in the said county, gent of the other part reciting that whereas Ebenezer Low the younger of Newtown in the co. of Westmeath, Gent, by his indenture of lease dated the thirty first day of July 1746 demised and set unto the said John Low all that and those the lands of Coronaher afsd situate in the Barony of Moycashell in sd co. of Westmeath containing by estimation one hundred acres during the natural life of him the said John Low under the yearly rent of seven shillings an acre by which first mentioned indenture the said John Low in ... of the sum of £1000 then? to him in hand paid by the said Samuel Handy did grant bargain, sell. release and confirm unto the said Samuel Handy to his heirs all that and those the afsd town and lands of Coronaher with all the rights members & appurtenances to the said lands belonging or appertaining with the rents issues and profits of the said premises and also all the estate right ... and interest of the said John Low & heirs of in and to the said premises and also the P. indenture of lease with all ... parts of leases & other ..lings.      Major William Low was born circa 1630. He was the son of John Low.
     Adam Clarke, in, Prelude to ther Restoration in Ireland states: William Lowe, who had been cashiered by Henry Cromwell in 1658, ostensibly for neglect of duty, '"peevishness and preverseness", but in reality for his opposition ot the protectorate, recovered his position as major, displacing his successor Alexnader Staples who had reperesend the north-west in teh 169 parliament, A footnote states: Lowe had been a captainin Venablees Foot, Cal, SP Adv p. 398.

     He was an Anabaptist, a major with Cromwell's army, granted the manor of Newtown in 1675 with manorial powers and held over 5,000 statute acres, formerly the lands of Rose MacGeoghegan.

Jane or Joan Lowe was also known as Low in some records. She was born circa 1675? In Newtown, Ireland. She was described as Jane Lowe of Newtown in the Genealogical Office pedigree.
