His wife Ann was executrix and received the house and stock in trade in Watlington for life and after her death to his brother Edward in trust for all his nephews and nieces then alive. He also left £50 to each of all his nephews and nieces this to be paid after the death of his wife. The fifty in the date has been crossed out and replaced with Seventy, with the note - the erasure of fifty and the insertion of seventy was before teh signing and sealing; but this doesn't make sense - he didn';t marry until 1771.
     John died before 29 March 1791 in Watlington, Oxfordshire. He was buried on 29 March 1791 in Watlington.
     His will was proved on 7 May 1791 in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury.
