     Charles Kirke was christened on 4 September 1633 in St Martin in the Fields, Westminster, London. There is no proof at this stage of this parent child relationship. He was the son of George Kirke and Anne Killigrew.

     Daughter Kirke was the daughter of George Kirke and Anne Killigrew.
     Daughter died before 23 May 1640. She was buried on 23 May 1640 in Westminster Abbey, London.

     More information about George Kirke may be found at http://www.historyofparliamentonline.org/volume/1604-1629/member/kirke-george-1675. He was born before 1590 in Scotland. He was the son of George Kirke, gentleman of the Robes to James VI of Scotland by 1600.
     George Kirke married Anne Killigrew, daughter of Sir Robert Killigrew and Mary Woodhouse, on 4 January 1627. She was the daughter of Sir Robert killigrew of Kempton, Mdx. They had 2 sons and 2 daughter, one of each dying in his lifetime. He married secondly Mary, daughter of Aurelian Townsend in 1646.
Kirke’s first marriage involved him in an unpopular Lincolnshire drainage project, which led to rioting on the outbreak of the Civil War, when he accompanied the Court to Oxford. Following the end of hostilities he paid £985 to compound for his delinquency.
     Copy Letters patent 11 Dec. 1627 confirming an indenture of lease 1 Aug. 1627 by Walter, Fullerton and Trevor to George Kirke a Groom of the Bedchamber, of the lordship of Sheriff Hulton and lands in Offringham and Cottinghams, for 80 years on the lives of George Kirke and Anne Killigrew of Lothbury London daughter of Sir Robert Killigrew, at £24.5. -, except lands surrendered by George Kirke by indenture 17 Nov. 1627.
Certified copy. Oath as to correctness of copy and to the effect that George Kirke was alive and in the rules of the Upper Bach Prison on that day, 23 May 1653, Sworn by Thomas Rudd, cit. & haberdasher. George was widowed on 6 July 1641 on the death of his wife Anne Killigrew.
     George Kirke married Mary Townsend on 26 February 1646. She was the daughte rof Aurelian Townsend, gent. of the Privy Chamber, of the Barbican, London. They had 4 sons and 2 daughters.
     George Kirke was mentioned in a deed in Yorkshire. Lease indented for 60 years by George Kirke (d 1663), Gentleman of the Robes and a Groom of His Majesty's Bedchamber, and Thomas Metcalf (d 1655), of Nappay (Nappa, North Riding) in the county of York, of a messuage with one acre, a close of 20 acres called the Lery Crofte, 2 oxgangs of land, meadow and pasture, 2 acres called Forby Land or Acres, one close called Forty Acres, 2 parcels of ground, by estimation 8 acres, called The Flats, one close called Yewland with ground containing 30 acres lying without Humberbancke in Ottringham (East Riding) now in the occupation of Francis Cobb. Rent £26 p.a. Signed 30 Nov 1639 by George Kirke. Seal. Endorsements.
     George died on 20 May 1675 in Soho, Westminster, Middlesex. He was buried on 26 May 1675 in St Margaret, Westminster.

     George Kirke was christened on 27 January 1634 in Sunbury on Thames, London, Middlesex. There is no proof at this stage of this parent child relationship. He was the son of George Kirke and Anne Killigrew.

     Lucy Kirke (Hambleton Sandyes) was born in England. She was the daughter of George Kirke and Anne Killigrew. Lucy was a courtesan.
     Lucy died before 4 August 1687. She was buried on 4 August 1687 in Westminster Abbey. She was buried as Lady Lucey Hambleton Sandyes, near the font.
     The administration of her estate was granted on 15 August 1687 in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury.

     Percy Kirke was born circa 1647. He was the son of George Kirke and Mary Townsend.
     Percy died George Kirke's son Percy achieved notoriety as the commander of ‘Kirke’s Lambs’ in the Sedgemoor campaign, but went over to William III during the Revolution, and sat for West Looe in the Convention Parliament as a Court Tory on 31 October 1691 in Brussels, Belgium.

     Philip Kirke was the son of George Kirke and Mary Townsend.
     Philip died circa 8 September 1687.

     Catherine Eliza Kirkman was commonly known as Kitty. She was born before 1785 in Dalkey, Dublin, Ireland. She was the daughter of Thomas Kirkman of Dalkey & his wife Barbara.
     Catherine Eliza Kirkman married Fleming Handy, son of Samuel Wesley Handy and Catherine Fleming, after 14 July 1802 in Monkstown, Dublin, Ireland.
     She was mentioned in the will of her father dated 19 Oct 1805 who had settled in the US. She is described as the wife of Fleming Handy.       Vera May Kirkpatrick was also known as Veronica in records. She was born in 1906 in New South Wales, Australia.
     Vera May Kirkpatrick married Horace Owen Dempster, son of Horace Hawkins Dempster and Ann Teresa Carney, in 1932 in Annandale district, New South Wales.
     Vera died in 1990 in New South Wales.

     Audrey Theodora Agnes Kirwan was born in 1888. She was the daughter of Major J D Kirwan, Royal Artillery.
     Audrey Theodora Agnes Kirwan married Lt Col Arthur Crosby Halahan OBE, son of Capt Samuel Handy Halahan and Hannah Croucher Engeham, on 25 May 1909 in St Mary Abbots, Kensington, London. Audrey Theodora Agnes Kirwan and Lt Col Arthur Crosby Halahan OBE were divorced in 1913 or 1929.
     Audrey died in 1950.

     Ann Kitchen married William Bickley, son of Benjamin? Bickley, on 24 December 1762 in St James, Westminster. His marriages are just suppositions which don't even fit!.

     Ann Kitchin was born circa 1550 in Lincolnshire, England.
     Ann Kitchin married Robert Popplewell (of Humblewhate, Belton?), son of William Popplewell, on 15 May 1571 in Belton, Lincolnshire.
     Ann died before 1582.

     Margaret Knight was born on 9 July 1938. She was the daughter of Matthew Felix Knight and Elvie Alice Ruby.

     Mary Ann Knight was born circa 1803?. She was christened on 18 February 1811 in Saltash, Cornwall. She was the daughter of John Knight & Sarah Bone.
     Mary Ann Knight and Sarah Jane Knight appeared on the 1841 census. They were living with May Ann's parents, John & Sarah Knight. Mary was living as a servant in the 1851 census in 34 Tavistock Place, Plymouth, Charles the Martyr, Devon.
     Mary died in 1894.

     Matthew Knight was born on 8 December 1927. He was the son of Matthew Felix Knight and Elvie Alice Ruby.
     Matthew died on 3 February 1985 aged 57.

     Sarah Jane Knight was christened in 1834 in St Budeaux, Devon. She was the daughter of Mary Ann Knight.
     Sarah Jane Knight and Mary Ann Knight appeared on the 1841 census. They were living with May Ann's parents, John & Sarah Knight.
     Sarah Jane Knight married John Dunsford in 1857.
     Sarah Jane Dunsford married William Rainsbury on 5 February 1871 in Kent. She gave Frederick Hunn, Paymaster Royal Navy as her father.

     Elizabeth Knott was born circa 1800 in Battlefield, Toomour, Sligo, Ireland. Eldest daughter of James Knott, of Battlefield, co. Sligo. An Elizabeth Handy wife of Thomas also erected a memorial to her mother Mary, relict of the late James Knott, Esq. of Battlefield, who died 31 July 1860.. She was the daughter of James Knott.
     Elizabeth Knott married Thomas Wade Handy, son of Samuel Wesley Handy and Catherine Fleming, in November 1822 in Emlafed. At Emlafed church, by the Reverend Richard Handy, Thomas Handy, son of Samuel W Handy, of Bracca Castle, county Westmeath, esq., to Elizabeth, eldest daughter of James Knott, of Battlefield, co. Sligo. Elizabeth Knott was listed in a directory dated 1846 as Mrs Elizabeth Handy at 'Blundell House', Edenderry, Monasterosis, Offaly, Ireland.
     Elizabeth Knott was mentioned on 30 November 1883.
     Elizabeth died on 30 March 1885 in Dublin, Ireland.
     Her will was proved on 29 June 1885 in Dublin. Will with one codicil of Elizabeth Handy late of Sandymount Rd, co. Dublin, widow, who died 30 March 1885 at same, at Principal Registry, by Samuel Wesley Handy of Springfield, Philipstown, Kings co., Esq, the sole executor.

     Elizabeth Knott married Lt Col John Wynne, son of Lewis Wynne and Rebecca Bingham. The had other issue: James, Cadwallader, ffoliott (d. 1784/4), Rebecca, Katherine & Jane..
     Elizabeth Knott made a will dated 10 October 1779.
     Elizabeth died between October 1779 and 1781.
     Her will was proved in 1781.

     A James Knott. esq. was empannelled for the Sligo Grand Jury in 1822.

     William Phibbs Knott was born circa 1800 in Battlefield, Toomour, Sligo, Ireland. He was the son of James Knott.
     William Phibbs Knott married Ruth Handy, daughter of Samuel Wesley Handy and Catherine Fleming, on 24 April 1828 in Horseleap or Ardnurcher, Westmeath. On the 24th ult., at Horseleap Church, William Phibbs Knott, Esq., to Ruth, daughter of Samuel Wesley Handy, of Braces Castle, County Westmeath, Esq.

William Phibbs Knott leased out much land listed in the Griffith Valuation in the 1850s in Aughrim, Galway, Ireland. One reference said "in Chancery'. He also had land in Kilfian,co. Mayo.
     In the matter of the estate of William Phibbs Knott and Ruth Knott his wife, owners; ex parte the Rev Lambert Watson Hepenstal, petitioner; rental and particular of sale of lands held in fee farm part of the manor of Aughrim, in the parish of Aughrim, Barony of Kilconnell, co. Galway which will be sold by public auction 16 Nov 1858. Observations: 1400 acres original demised in Nov 1717 ... granted & demised to Samuel Handy, of Aughrim, co. Galway, gentleman ... By indented articles of agreement dated 10 June 1772 between said Samue Handy (the 2nd) and Samuel Wesley Handy, eldest son and heir apparent of the said Samuel Handy of the 1st part, Mathew Fleming and Catherine Fleming, eldest daughter of the said Mathew Fleming of the 2nd part, and Archbold Fleming and Thomas Fouace (Trustees therein named of the 3rd part, therein reciiting, that a marriage was then intended to be had between the said Samuel Wesley Handy and said Catherine Fleming; and also that the said Samuel Handy (the 2nd) amongst other lands was seized and possessed of the said town and lands of Aughrim ... one moiety or half of the town and lands of Aughrim which were therefor settled upon him, the said Samuel Handy (2nd) by his father Samuel Handy (the lessee) together with the Mill and Miller's Garden of said town, and also the moiety or half of the lands of Coolalah, being part of the said Lands of Aughrim, which were theretofore settled by said Samuel Handy (the lessee) in his lifetime, on his son John Handy, and other lands therein mentioned, subject to the yearly rent o f£148 sterling ... By Deed of appointment, bearing date 13 Aug 1821, made and executed by the said Samuel Wesley Handy, and therein reciting the will of the said Samuel Handy (2nd) bearing date of 1 July 1779.. the said SWH was desirous of exercising the power of appointment reserved to him by the said will, in favour of (his children) Dorothea Anne Handy, Maria Jane Handy, Ruth Handy, Elizabeth Crawford , otherwise Handy, and William Orme Handy.
