     John Lonsdale D.D., Bishop of Lichfield was born on 17 January 1788 at New Miller Dam, Yorkshire. He was the son of Rev John Lonsdale and Elizabeth Steer.
     John studied at King's College, Cambridge University, in 1807. John was a clergyman between 1815 and 1867.
     John Lonsdale D.D., Bishop of Lichfield married Sophia Bolland on 25 November 1815. She was the daughter of John Bolland and the author of numerous religious works.
     John died on 19 October 1867 aged 79.

     Rev John Gylby Lonsdale was born on 28 January 1818 at London. He was the son of John Lonsdale D.D., Bishop of Lichfield and Sophia Bolland.
     John studied at Trinity College, Cambridge University, in 1837.

     John died on 8 April 1907 aged 89.

     Rev John Henry Lonsdale was born on 25 June 1855 at London. He was the son of Rev John Gylby Lonsdale and Sarah Jardine.

     The present church at Chapelizod is a modern structure, but is attached to a tower of considerable antiquity, and there are two mural tablets within the building. ...This tomb was erected by John Low, gent. who was born at Bewdly in Worcestershire, and departed this life the 24 of April, 1638, and was here interred. Here also lie the bodies of Joan, wife of Major William Low, his son, who died the 30 of Septem. 1677; Elizabeth, wife of Ebenezer Low, Esq. son of the sd William Low, who died ye 2 of January, 1677; Major William Low departed this life ye 2 of May, 1678 ; Joan his daughter departed this life ye 20th of March, 1678; Lieu. George Low, second son of John Low, died ye 8 of July, 1681 ; Catherin, second wife of Ebenezer Low, died ye 8 of July, 1687; Ebenezer Low, Esq. repaired and enlarged this tomb, and departed this life ye 2nd of July, 1690. Here lie also the bodies of William, William, Elizabeth, Joan Low, Catherine Low, Ebenezer, John, Joseph son of [-]tin Cuppaidge, gent. by Mary his wife, daughter of Major William Low.") dating from the seventeenth century. Memorial of an indenture dated the thirtieth day of May 1753 between John Low of Coranaher in the co. of Westmeath, gent, of the one part & Samuel Handy of Coolylough in the said county, gent of the other part reciting that whereas Ebenezer Low the younger of Newtown in the co. of Westmeath, Gent, by his indenture of lease dated the thirty first day of July 1746 demised and set unto the said John Low all that and those the lands of Coronaher afsd situate in the Barony of Moycashell in sd co. of Westmeath containing by estimation one hundred acres during the natural life of him the said John Low under the yearly rent of seven shillings an acre by which first mentioned indenture the said John Low in ... of the sum of £1000 then? to him in hand paid by the said Samuel Handy did grant bargain, sell. release and confirm unto the said Samuel Handy to his heirs all that and those the afsd town and lands of Coronaher with all the rights members & appurtenances to the said lands belonging or appertaining with the rents issues and profits of the said premises and also all the estate right ... and interest of the said John Low & heirs of in and to the said premises and also the P. indenture of lease with all ... parts of leases & other ..lings. The above named Thos Handy maketh oath that he is a subscribing witness to the deed whereof the above is a true memorial and saw the above named John Low sign seal and deliver the same as his act and deed and that he is also a subscribing witness to the above memorial & saw the above named John Low sign and seal the same& that he delivered the said deed and memorial to Mr James Saunders Dep ... the 14 Dec 1753 ....

     George Low was the son of John Low.
