First I give & devise to Richard Poplewell esq, Mr John Tomlinson, Ann Dawson, widow & Humphrey Poplewell of Epworth and their assignes; all my right & title in the estate that was my own before marriage to enter to it the Michaelmas after my decease and to hold the same during the life of my sister Ann the wife of Thomas Watson ... and after the death of my said sister ... unto the said Richard Poplewell and his heirs forever ... he paying...out of the estate ... to his own two daughters Catherine & Elizabeth each of them £20, and to Elizabeth & Ann, daughters of Thomas Poplewell £20.. if not of years of discretion the money to be put in the hands of their uncle Humphrey Poplewell ...

     Alfred Willoughby Hunt was born in 1863 in St Leonards district, New South Wales. He was the son of Robert Fellowes Hunt and Mary Paul.
     Alfred died in 1875 in Victoria.

     Ann Hunt married Benjamin Whiting.

     Mary Hunt married William Armstrong, son of William Armstrong and Rebecca Henzell, on 3 July 1747. They had four daughters. He married secondly, the sister of Colonel Hill of London.

     Robert Fellowes Hunt was born on 30 June 1830 in London, England. He was the son of Henry Leigh Hunt and his wife Ellen.
     Robert Fellowes Hunt married Mary Paul, daughter of John Paul and Mary Bowen, on 25 November 1860 in St Leonards, New South Wales, Australia. Robert was the third deputy Mint master at Sydney. There are 22 documents at the Powerhouse Museum c. 1860-1892 relating to his employment along with a medal awarded to him as an exhibitor at the London International Exhibition, in 1862.
In 1877 Robert Hunt was appointed Deputy Master of the Sydney Mint, a position in which he remained until his death in 1892. Although in charge of the Royal Mint, Sydney Branch, he was deputy to the Master of the Royal Mint in London. Hunt had already worked at the Sydney Mint between 1853 and 1870 as Chief Clerk in the Bullion Office and then at the end of 1870 went to the newly-opened Melbourne Mint as Superintendent of the Bullion Office for seven years.
Hunt was a keen educationalist and this medal (together with the 1879) demonstrates his willingness to participate in exhibition development - in the 1862 NSW displays for London 'for services', and in the 1879 as an 'Honorary member of the Commission'. For the 1879 event Hunt organised a display of alluvial gold samples, coins and an automatic balance from the Sydney Mint between 1877 and 1892. Robert was a pioneer photographer.      Robert died on 27 September 1892 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, aged 62.

     Clive died on 23 April 1985 aged 74. He married Margaret (Marge) Jenner on 22 January 1934 at Sevenhill, SA. and had six children including Frank who is the source of the Huppatz family information.

     Edward John Huppatz was born on 14 November 1917 in Saddleworth, South Australia. He was the son of Frederich Albert Huppatz and Mary May Colbert.
     Edward died on 12 December 1996 aged 79.

     Frederich Albert Huppatz was known as Albert. He was born on 22 May 1881 in Saddleworth, South Australia. He was the son of Friedrich August (1847 1931) and Anna (nee Kamenka) (1849 - 1923) Huppatz.
     Frederich Albert Huppatz married Mary May Colbert, daughter of Thomas Colbert and Maria Malone, on 18 September 1906 in St Mary Hotel, St Mary, South Australia. The hotel was the residence of the bride's mother. Her stepfather, Mr George Young was licensee of the Hotel from 1903 to 1918.
     Frederich died on 7 July 1947 in Saddleworth, South Australia, aged 66. He was buried in the Catholic cemetery, Saddleworth.

     Harold August Huppatz was born on 11 May 1912 in Saddleworth, South Australia. He was the son of Frederich Albert Huppatz and Mary May Colbert.
     Harold died on 17 November 1972 aged 60.

     Jean Margaret Huppatz was born on 13 January 1920 in Marrabel, South Australia. She was the daughter of Frederich Albert Huppatz and Mary May Colbert.
     Jean died on 16 March 1997 aged 77.
