     Capt Frederick Hunn was born at Cumberland, England. He was christened on 8 July 1789 at St Andrew's and Nonconformist, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland. He and his sister Ann were the third set of twins for Mary Anne. He was the son of Richard Hunn and Mary Ann Costello.
     Frederick served in the Royal Navy between 1803 and 1846. Was a Captain.
     Capt Frederick Hunn and Frances Emma Pickmore obtained a marriage licence on 14 October 1814.
     Capt Frederick Hunn married Frances Emma Pickmore on 15 October 1814 at St Martin in the Fields, Westminster, Middlesex.
     In 1818, he is mentioned in the Treasury Long Papers, bundle 580: Admiral Francis Pickmore, d 1818: case of Captain Frederick Hunn, son-in-law and executor, respecting debts to Crown.
     On 11 Sep 1827, he wrote to Lord Seaforth, via Mr Huskisson, re Canning's death.
     His portrait was painted in 1828, just before his departure to take up the position of Harbour Master at Malta. He retired on 1 Oct 1846.

     Capt Frederick Hunn appeared on the 1851 census at 34 Tavistock Place, Plymouth, Charles the Martyr, Devon. Fred Hunn, head, married, 57/51?, Capt. RN, born Cumberland; Fred Hunn, son, 8, born Plympton St Mary, Devon, with Mary A Knight, servant unmarried, house servant, born Saltash, Cornwall and Sarah I Knight, 17, servant born Plymouth.
     Frederick died on 13 October 1852 at Tavistock Place, Plymouth, Devon, aged 63. He has a brass mural tablet in St Andrew's church.
     His will was proved on 19 November 1852 at the Prerogative Court of Canterbury. Frederick was widowed on 8 January 1860 at Rolvenden, Kent, on the death of his wife Frances Emma Pickmore.
          A great granddaughter of the Noads, Miss Teale, who was living at Scarborough, Yorkshire in 1927, possessed an oil portrait of Mary Ann Costelloe, which was illustrated in the Daily Telegraph on 16 April 1927, accompanying a sketch of Mary Ann's life written by Frederick R Gale, whose wife, nee Emily Frances Tapply was a great grand daughter of Mary Ann's son, Capt Frederick Hunn, R.N.

      Mary Ann Harriet Emma Hunn was also known as Harriet Emma in some records. She was born on 31 July 1815 at Foots Cray, Kent. She was the daughter of Capt Frederick Hunn and Frances Emma Pickmore. Mary Ann Harriet Emma Hunn was christened on 9 September 1815 at Foots Cray.
     Mary Ann Harriet Emma Hunn married Count Giovanni D Pessina. They had no issue.

     Mary died on 8 December 1859 at Paris, France, aged 44. At the vicarage, Rolvenden, aged 72, Frances Emma, widow of Capt. Hunn, R.N., and last surviving child of the late Adm. Pickmore, Governor of Newfoundland. Also, at Paris, on Dec. 8, aged 44, Mary Ann Harriette Emma, widow of Signor G.D. Pessina, and eldest daughter of the above Frances Emma Hunn.
Her death is mentioned on the memorial inscription at Rolvenden church with her mother.

     Richard Hunn was christened on 20 January 1745 at Maker, Cornwall. He may be the Richard Hun baptised at St Mary's Portsea, Hampshire 8 Sept 1742, son of Richard Hun. However he may also have been the son of Samuel Hunn who married Ann Triscott on 10 Jan 1741 at Plymouth (a son had Triscott as a middle name). He was the son of Samuel Hunn and Ann Triscott.
     He was a provincial actor and silk merchant in Plymouth. The Hunns grew to be close friends of Bernard who spoke of them warmly in his Retrospections of the Stage. He failed finally as an actor as he formerly had as a businessman. Winston tells a sad story in the The Theatric tourist of Hunn having contracted for a half interest in the Plymouth Theatre with a Mr Wolfe, the proprietor, and having deposited £160 as part of the payment, "but being unable to furnish the remainder, Wolfe threw him into prison; and liberated him only on condition of liberating his claim.".
     Richard Hunn married Mary Ann Costello, daughter of Jordan Costello and Daughter Guy Dickens, on 11 February 1783 at St Paul's, Exeter, Devon. She separated from Hunn because of "his disgusting conduct".
     Richard died in 1804.
