     Mary Heron married Thomas Hooper, son of Rev William Hooper and Mary Dennie, in December 1778 in North Carolina, USA. Mary was the daughter of the Honorable Benjamin and Mary Howe Heron of Bertie County. Benjamin was deputy surveyor and auditor of His Majesty's revenue, clerk of the Crown, naval officer, and member of the North Carolina royal governor's Council in 1763; he died in England in 1770. Mary's brother, Edward Heron, remained loyal to the state of North Carolina, although in 1782 he asked for permission to visit his sister when she was ill and on her way to England. It is not dear whether Hooper had any children who survived to adulthood..
     Mary died in 1820.

     Charlotte de Hesse was born in the Netherlands?. Daughter of John de Hesse of Holland. Charlotte de Hesse was also known as Hessen in some records.
     Charlotte de Hesse married Thomas Killigrew, son of Sir Robert Killigrew and Mary Woodhouse, on 28 January 1655 in The Hague, the Netherlands.
She was naturalized on 3 June 1664. Thomas's second wife Charlotte and 3 of their sons were naturalized by act of Parliament 3 June 1664, In a 1662 draft for the Act she was called Charlotte Hessen, wife of Thomas Killigrew, groom of His Majesty's bed chamber. Petition of Sir William Killigrew, complaining of the behaviour of his sister-in-law, Charlotte Killigrew, when his wife died; Petition of Sir William Killigrew, complaining of the behaviour of his sister-in-law, Charlotte Killigrew, when his wife died while in attendance on the Queen at Somerset House (1681!). Charlotte de Hesse was an executor of Gen Robert Killigrew's estate on 19 August 1707 in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury.
     The administration of her estate was granted to Charles Killigrew on 5 May 1716.

     The Sydney Monitor on 1 Sep 1841 advertised: CAUTION. Wheras, my wife Mary Anne Hudson, (formerly Hewson), did abandon my house and protection, and her home, on the 25th day of August, instant, and is no longer resident with me, this is to caution the Public against giving any trust or credit to the said Mary Anne Hudson : she having no authority to con- tract any debts while from under the protection of her Husband, and should shopkeepers or others, give trust or credit to the said Mary Anne Hudson, I will not defray such debts nor any of them. The Public are also cautioned against purchasing any lands, Tenements, Horses, Cattle, Chattels of any description from my wife, Mary Anne Hudson or (Hewson), as I will not sanction such sales, and will seek recovery of such of my goods, in Courts of Justice. 2576 Signed Job Hudson.
     On 12 September 1846 she advertised: Caution to Alexander Flood, Auctioneer, and toe Public.
