His will [Registry of Deeds 8 Dec 1725, dated 11 Oct 1722 of Kilmacnoran (co.Cavan)], mentions his wife Ann, only daughter Elizabeth Harman, Mr Wm Harman, exor. Sister Mrs Jane Ebzery extx. His sons Mr Christopher Harman and Mr John Harman.

     Mary Harman married Major John Dunbar, son of Sir John Dunbar and Katherine Graham, say 1630 in Ireland.
     Note that Burke's Landed Gentry of Ireland under Harman states that Henry Harman of Dublin's daughter Mary married firstly Burton and secondly, Francis Brereton of Chapel-Izod.
     Mary Harman married Arthur Weldon, son of Walter Weldon and Jane Ryder, after 1657 in Ireland. Arthur Weldon, of Park co. Carlow, married Mary daughter of Henry Harman of Dublin and sister of Sir Thomas Harman, Kt, of Athy, and widow of Sir John Dunbar of Dunbar, co. Fermanagh. She was widowed again by 1680.
     Mary Harman and Catherine Dunbar, Sir John Dunbar, Major John Dunbar, Alexander Weir and Alexander Weir were mentioned in a court case on 19 May 1674. A Chancery bill entered on 19 May 1674 between Moutray, plaintiff & Weir, defendant sheweth that Archibald Erkskin, had lent Sir John Dunbar £500 upon mortgage upon certain lands. That Ann Erskin his heir (wife of John Moutray of Aghamoyle) took out administration of her father's property. That Sir John Dunbar had never repaid the mortgage. That in 1658 Richard Dunbar 'as son & heir' of Sir John Dunbar, entered into the said mortgaged premises in Magheraboy. That said Richard died in 1666-7, and Catherine his daughter, as his heir in her right, or some others in her behalf, entered the said premises and enjoyed them and doth still enjoy them. Orator is informed that the said deed of mortgage came into the hands of Edward Weir, senior, Edward Weir, junior, Alex Arthur Weldon, Wm Dunbar, Jas Somerwell & John Dunbar or to some or one of them etc.
In the answers to the above bill, of Alexander Weir of Monaghan? co. Fermanagh and Jas Somerwell, it is stated that these defts [deforciants] believe and have heard that John Dunbar, gent, who is son & heir of John Dunbar, deceased, who was second son of Sir John Dunbar, did immediately after the settlement in this kingdom, being then under age, by his guardian Mary Dunbar alias Veldon, his mother, enter into and always receive the rents and profits of the lands in question until he attained full age, which was about three years since: and do well know that he is in the seizin and possession of the said lands by some arrangement made by his grandfather. But they deny that Richard Dunbar or his daughter Catherine ever entered into the lands or enjoyed the rents: and that the said Catherine is not above the age of eight years. And they deny any knowledge of the mortgage of any land that came into their possession.

The Very Rev Charles Doyne (1711 1777), alter Dean of Leighlin, was the third son of Philip Doyne of Wells. He had three sons by his first wife, Anna Maria Bury, who died in 1762. On 7th March 1763, he married Wesley Harman’s widow, Mary, daughter of Rev. Nicholas Milley, DD.

July 24th 1764 – Returned home from Dublin where I purchased most of the Harman Estate in the County Carlow viz Moyle Demesne, 109 acres; Little Moyle, Jno Pain tenant, 100 acres; Part of Moyle, Wm Dillon tenant, 42 acres; Part of Moyle, Widow McEvoy tenant, 35 acres; Part of Do [Ditto?] Anth. Murray tenant 20 acres; Rathedon Court [sic] Stewart tenant; Labenesy [sic] Harry Brewster tenant; & Gormenagh [sic] James Dillon, which amounted to £11,200 the 4th part of which I deposited being £2800 & at said time purchased two leases [for] Estates in County Longford, Glasgloone [sic] & Trillickatemple £33.7.6 paid, & Clumkeen [sic] & Cordevon £37.18.6 paid. The Purchase money of the County Longford amounts to £2960; the 4th of which I did not deposit. ...
[16] This sale arose following the death of Wentworth Harman II (1757) and his eldest son, Wesley Harman (1758). Wentworth’s wife Lucy Mervyn was a daughter of Audley Mervyn of Trillick, another property that subsequently passed to Thomas Bunbury of Kill. There is the possibility of a family connection here. Between 1683 and his death in 1714, Wentworth Harman I of Newcastle, County Longford, and Moyle, Co Carlow, son of Sir Thomas Harman and Anne Jones, was married secondly to Frances Sheppard, daughter of a Colonel Sheppard. Thomas Bunbury of Kill’s grandmother Mary Bunbury was born Mary Sheppard.
[17] One such advertisement appeared in The Dublin Journal and read as follows: ‘To be speedily sold, the Town and Lands of Moyle, and several other Lands in the County of Carlow, the Town and Lands of Bawn, and several other Lands in the County of Longford, and the Black Bull Inn in the County of Meath, the Estates of the late Wesley Harman, Esq; deceased. For further Particulars enquire of the Rev. Charles Doyne, in Molesworth-street, John Kelly, Attorney, in Aungier-street, Dublin, David Gorman at Moyle, near Carlow, and Robert Jenkins at Trillick near Longford, to any of whom Proposals can be made.’.

     Thomas was registered as as bank clerk in Albert St, Goondiwindi, Queensland, on the electoral roll dated 1954. He was with Margaret Mary Dickson, home duties - this could be a wife or his mother.
     Thomas died in 1958 in Queensland.
