     Elizabeth Handy was born circa 1785. She was the second daughter according to her brother Richard Fleming Handy in 1859, and was also a religious woman and is no more "here below".. She was the daughter of Samuel Wesley Handy and Catherine Fleming.
     Elizabeth Handy married Andrew Crawford in June 1803 at Westmeath.
     Elizabeth Handy was mentioned in the will of Samuel Wesley Handy dated 12 August 1824. Elizabeth Handy witnessed the codicil of Samuel Wesley Handy on 13 August 1826 at Bracca/Brackagh Castle; Sam made a codicil reflecting the death of his wife.
     Elizabeth died before 1827 or 1853 at Ireland. She may have died before 1827 as her father made a codicil to his will menioning her children. Her sister Dorothea's will dated March 1853 mentions her children - Catherine Handy, Rebecca Jane & Margaret Crawford, living at Rathmines Rd, Dublin..
     Elizabeth Handy was mentioned as being deceased in the will of Dorothea Ann Handy dated 31 March 1853.

     Elizabeth Handy was born in 1680 at Newcastle, Tikillin, Wexford, Ireland. She was the daughter of Thomas Handy and Sarah Deaves.

     Betham's abstract of the will of Thomas Handy of Meath Street, Dublin, merchant, mentions his cozen Samuel Handy, Johnathan Strettle, daughter Catherine Pim otherwise Handy, wife of John Pim; Sarah Pemberton, wife of John Pemberton, daughter Mary Handy, brother John Handy, father Thomas Handy, grand daughters Sarah, Mary, Elizabeth & Anna Pim, grand son Handy Pemberton, grandaughter Mary Pemberton, cousin Mary Wyly, daughter of Bridget Jessop nee Wyley. Brother in law Samuel Hillary, cousin Susanna Williams, nee Wright, cousin William Wright.

She had two husbands. I am descended from the first husband Malcolm Cameron whom she married in 1892. Ellen Handy and an unknown person were divorced in 1902 at Tacoma, Washington, USA.
     Ellen Handy married James Dykes on 24 January 1902 at Vancouver, British Columbia.

He mentions his brother John, his wife Catherine nee Fleming, daughters Dorothea Ann, Maria Jane & Ruth (wife of William Knott by Nov 1829), his son Samuel Handy and his grandson Samuel Wesley Handy his son. Other sons John Handy, Wm Orme, Fleming Handy, land in co. Mayo, son William Orme Handy, Thomas Wade Handy and Richard Fleming Handy alias Fleming Handy and daughter Elizabeth, wife of Andrew Crawford who are already provided for. Testator formerly lived at Aghrim. Executrixes - 3 unmarried daughters.
