     Alexander Kingston Handy was born between July 1884 and September 1884 at Edenderry, Monasterosis, Offaly, Ireland. He was the son of Orme William Handy and Kathleen Davenport Purdon. Alexander Kingston Handy was born between October 1885 and December 1885 at Edenderry, OFF, IRL. He was mentioned in the 1883 will of his grandfather Alexander Kingston Handy, as the only son mentioned was Orme William, I presume he is the father. Alexander Handy born about 1831 is a patron submission on the IGI. There appear to be three registrations in this name: 3rd quarter 1884 3/399, 2nd quarter 1885 3/431, 4th quarter 1885 3/389, all in the Edenderry RD.

     Alexander Kingstone Handy was born in 1808 at Offaly, Ireland. He was described as the second son in his brother Samuel Wesley's marriage settlement. He was the son of William Orme Handy and Mary Kingstone.

This is presumably Margaret Frances.

     His will was proved on 19 December 1883 at Mullingar. The will of Alexander Kingston Handy, late of Newtown House, Tullamore, Kings county Esq died 16 August 1883 at same proved at Mullingar by Samuel Handy Somers of Tyrrelspass House, Tyrrellspass, Westmeath & Orme William Handy of Park House, Kinnegad, co. Westmeath, Esq. executors. Effects £8127/9/6.
An 1884 document re Gertrude Frances Williams (Handy) states AKH is now dead.
     The administration of his estate was granted on 1 May 1901 at Mullingar.

He may be Andrew Alexander having a liaison with a servant and she brought her children up as Catholics, but these children described their father as a weaver so it is unlikely to be Andrew A, the solicitor. He was the son of Raheen, RC Handy.
     Andrew Handy married Margaret Kenehan. Margaret Kinahan of Tubber, was a servant in the new house built near Bracca Castle whose foundations were blessed by Samuel Wesley. They were ostracised by the family.
