     The Catholics had three chapels, Creggan, Loughmacrory and Rocktown. There were separate burial places for women and children at Termon much used by the RCs. Carrickmore is known as the Rock or Termon Rock to the locals. Inish/Sultan towland is in the DED of Creggan.
Gary O'Hagan descends from a Charles O'Hagan, mason and his wife Jane Millar, of Derryloran, co. Tyrone. Their son Michael who emigrated to Vic was born 1 April 1845 and baptised the same day at Tullywiggan. He had sisters Eleanor Jane born 31 Jan 1840 at Gortalowry, Cookstown and Elizabeth born 22 April 1845 at Cookstown. Charles is listed in the Griffith Valuation at Gortalowry, parish of Derryloran.

      Mary Hagan was also known as Mary O'Haghan in some records. Mary Hagan was also known as Mary O'Hagan in some records. She was born on 3 March 1840 in Inish in Sultan townland, Termonmaguirk, Tyrone, Ireland. Her marriage and death certificate state that she was the daughter of Charles O'Haghan/Heghan and Ellen Moynahan. She was born c.1842 if 20 as stated on her arrival in November 1862; c.1843 by her stated age of 27 at marriage in November 1870; c.1843 if 28 in Nov 1871 or Jan 1872 at her eldest son's birth, c.1844 if 34 as stated at her son's birth in July 1878; but in 1842 if aged 44 at her death in May 1886. Her death certificate stated that she was born in Dungannon. In 1876 her birthplace looks like "Chaeman", Heritage World states that Charman is the local version of the name from Tearmann McGuic the Gaelic version of the name. She was the daughter of Charles Hagan and Ellen Meenagh. Mary Hagan was christened on 3 April 1840 in Termonmaguirk. Mariam ex Charles Hagan et Elena Menagh. Sponsors? Filui Menagh et Elena McGuirk, Inish. Inish was part of Sultan townland. There were 2 Felix Minagh in Termonmaguirk in the Griffith Valuation, one in Aghagogan, the other in Streefe Glebe. A Felx Meenagh aged 71, widower was living in 1901 at 13 Streefe Glebe, Loughmacrory, Tyrone with his son Hugh & daughter Mary.
     Mary Hagan arrived per "Shalimar" on 15 November 1865 at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Mary O'Hegan aged 20, occupation - spinster, nationality - Irish, arrived with Elizabeth O'Hegan, 20 or 26, also an Irish spinster, as unassisted passengers. The ship (1591 tons) departed 22 August, master - Stanley, carrying 427 passengers, 414 in steerage.
A Mary O'Hagan aged 22 came with her sisters Elizabeth aged 18 and Margaret? aged 15, all Irish spinners to Melbourne on 12 July 1870 on the "Corona".
     Mary Hagan married Edward Colbert, son of Edward Colbert and Catherine MacAuliffe, on 5 November 1870 in St Alipius RC church, Ballarat, Victoria. Married by licence. She was an illiterate servant, aged 27, and he called himself Edward Colebart, miner, aged 30. Mary Hagan was admitted to the Hospital, Ballarat, on 17 April 1886 by Dr Woinarski. She was described as Mary Coleman, aged 44, of Windermere, born co. Tyrone, 23 years in Victoria.
     Mary died of cancer of the stomach on 11 May 1886 in the District Hospital, Ballarat, Victoria, Australia, aged 46. Mary Coleman [sic], aged 44, born at Dungannon, Tyrone, daughter of Charles O'Heghan farmer & Ellen; buried 13th May at Ballarat! witnessed by Edward Colbert & William Wilson. She was buried on 13 May 1886 in Smythesdale.

Their son Michael died in 1928 aged 53. An earlier Michael died in 1865 aged 1.

He served in the South African War and was employed with Mounted Infantry operations in the Orange River Colony from Dec 1 1901 to 31 May 1902. He received the Queen's Medal with four clasps. In the First World War he commanded the 1st Battalion of Essex Regt from 5 June 1916 to 24 April 1917. Afterwards he was Commandant (1) of the 29 Divisional Reinforcement Camp from 25 April 1917 to 13 July 1917...
When commanding 1st Essex he was temporary Lt Colonel, but thereafter was a Major until his retirement in 1923 when he was entitled to use the honorary rank of Lt Col. He was 2IC of the Battalion when he retired from Bordon Camp in Hampshire in 1923.
     Lt Col Arthur Crosby Halahan OBE married Audrey Theodora Agnes Kirwan on 25 May 1909 in St Mary Abbots, Kensington, London. Lt Col Arthur Crosby Halahan OBE and Audrey Theodora Agnes Kirwan were divorced in 1913 or 1929.
     Arthur died on 7 December 1962 aged 88.

     Bruce Crosby Halahan was born on 1 December 1925 in Alverstoke, Gosport, Hampshire. He was the son of Capt Frederick John Crosby Halahan and Agatha Katherine Rose Close.
     Bruce Crosby Halahan served in the military as part of the Royal Navy between 1942 and 1945.
     He served in the Metropoltan Police, Colonial Police 1949-1960 and S... in Malaysia 1965 to 1973.
     Bruce Crosby Halahan was a family historian.
     Bruce died in February 2005 in Ipswich, Suffolk, aged 79.

     Catherine Sophia Halahan was born on 19 June 1865 in Portmadoc, Caernarvonshire, Wales. June 19 1865, at Portmadoc, North Wales, to the wife of R F Halahan, Esq., a daughter. She was the daughter of Richard Flemyng Halahan and Mary Mills Legh. Catherine and Richard were listed as the children of Richard Flemyng Halahan in the 1881 census in 46 Ampthill Rd, Bedford.
     Catherine died between January 1885 and March 1885 in Bedford RD, Bedfordshire.

     Charles George Travers Halahan was born on 21 January 1845 in Southsea, Hampshire. He was the son of Dr John Wallen Halahan and Henrietta Brownrigg. Charles George Travers Halahan was christened on 11 May 1845 in St Mary's, Portsea. Henry, Mary, Elizabeth, Samuel and Charles were listed as the children of Dr John Wallen Halahan in the 1851 census in Field Officers Quarters, Woolwich Common, Kent.
     Charles died being shipwrecked off India.
