     Catherine Drake? married Humphrey Popplewell, son of Humphrey Popplewell and Mary Whitaker, on 28 September 1738 at Belton, Lincolnshire.
Catherine was party to a deed dated 13 November 1745 at Belton, LIN. Indenture between (1) Benjamin Coy of Belton, carpenter (2) Humphrey Poplewell of Belton, yeoman & Catherine his wife (3) Richard Popplewell of Epworth, gent. Sale by the Coys in consideration of £8 by Humphrey to Richard Poplewell of one and half roods of land arable in Belton.
     Catherine Drake? was mentioned in the will of Humphrey Popplewell dated 24 December 1751. Catherine was widowed before 7 February 1755 at Belton, LIN, on the death of her husband Humphrey Popplewell. Catherine was an executor of an unknown person 's estate on 10 February 1755 at Stow Archdeaconry, Lincolnshire.
     Catherine Drake? made a will dated 28 July 1768 at Belton, Lincolnshire. Catherine Poplewell of Belton, 28 July 1768 left her estate to her grandchildren, Catherine Atkin, Humfrey Atkin & Elizabeth Atkin. They were by her daughter of a previous marriage.
     Catherine died before 1 January 1782 at Belton, LIN. She was buried on 1 January 1782 at Belton.
     The administration of her estate was granted to Humphrey Atkinson on 9 January 1783 at Stow Archdeaconry. Administration was granted to Humphrey Atkinson alias Atkin, the grandson.
