Although no further identification is provided, it seems likely that this was Margaret Drummond, the second wife of King David II, since she is known to have retired to England (ODNB, article by Bruce Webster) and all other Scottish consorts of that name (St Margaret; Margaret Plantagenet; Margaret of Denmark, and Margaret Tudor) are known to have been buried elsewhere.
